Eleanor Diamse is a nurse practitioner at Harmony HRT, a small Grand Junction clinic that works only on hormone and thyroid care. She came to hormone medicine after more than a decade as a chemical engineer at Intel and then years as a hospital and home health nurse practitioner, and she says she has been a dismissed patient herself. The clinic prescribes only hormones it describes as biologically identical, which it names as estradiol, progesterone and testosterone rather than the synthetic versions, and it draws blood for lab panels in its own office. Care is sold as a twelve month package of appointments and lab panels rather than one visit at a time, and each year includes a required in person visit with follow ups by video. Eleanor tells patients it is never too early or too late to be seen, and that perimenopause symptoms can begin years before periods stop. Appointments are arranged by calling the clinic, because there is no online calendar for individual providers.
