Lyons Health and Wellness is a small clinic in the Colorado foothills town Megan Foreman comes from, and she started it after leaving corporate healthcare. It is a primary care practice as well as a hormone practice, so the clinician treating your perimenopause also manages things like thyroid and cholesterol. A first visit covers your history along with sleep, food and exercise, and labs are ordered at the end so the results can be gone over at the follow-up. The clinic prefers Biote pellets and explains why it favors them over daily creams and pills, though patches, tablets and creams are options, and it uses compounding pharmacies when a dose needs to be precise. Prescriptions go to the pharmacy you choose instead of being sold in the office, and hormone care does not require a membership. Before opening the clinic Foreman ran the disordered eating team at CU Boulder, and the practice does weight and metabolic care alongside hormones.

Kendra runs a small virtual menopause practice, and every visit is by video for women located in Colorado. She went through menopause herself at 44 after more than a decade of symptoms, and she says she got little help at the time despite being a clinician. She starts hormone therapy one hormone at a time and adds others gradually, an approach she learned through the Heather Hirsch Academy. Non-hormonal options are fully supported, and you do not have to take hormones to be her patient. With six years in primary care, she can also help manage cholesterol, blood pressure, thyroid and blood sugar alongside menopause care. Hours are limited to two evenings a week for now, and new patients are asked to call before booking.

Pacific Menopause is a virtual clinic Dr. Ammerman built to do one thing, which is midlife and menopause care by video. New patient visits run a full 60 minutes, and follow ups are usually booked two to three months later and then spaced out to once a year once symptoms settle. She prescribes FDA approved hormone therapy and testosterone, and she spells out that this means bioidentical hormones such as estradiol and progesterone, which have the same molecular structure as the hormones the body makes. Non hormonal prescriptions are there for women who cannot take hormones or would rather avoid them. Weight is her second focus, and she prescribes both oral and injectable weight loss medication alongside work on nutrition, activity and behaviour. She also owns a gynecology clinic in Kahului, so patients on Maui can choose to see her there in person instead.

Peak Vista's Women's Health Center sits on the Union campus in Colorado Springs and is part of a federally qualified health center that also handles pregnancy care and well woman visits. Peak Vista's women's health service page names her, as Kady Moehring, as the provider on its team certified by The Menopause Society, and says she is one of only three certified practitioners in Colorado Springs. That same page gives lifestyle changes, non-hormonal treatments and hormone therapy as the relief options for menopause symptoms. One thing to know before calling is that since the first of July 2026 most Peak Vista centers in Colorado Springs have stopped taking new patients whose main coverage is commercial insurance, while new patients on Medicaid or Medicare or with no insurance are still welcome. She joined Peak Vista in 2018, is listed as an assistant medical director, and her training includes a post masters certificate in nurse midwifery. There is a sliding fee discount based on household size and income, and it is open to insured and uninsured patients alike.

A virtual women's specialty care platform for complex hormonal, metabolic and gynecological conditions, where menopause and perimenopause sit alongside PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid disease, fibroids and primary ovarian insufficiency. Each patient is assigned one medical provider, either an obstetrician-gynecologist, an endocrinologist or a women's health nurse practitioner, plus a registered dietitian, and stays with both. Care starts with a 30-minute medical visit and a 45-minute nutrition visit, broad hormonal and metabolic labs, then check-ins every week or two. Prescribing is optional and patient-directed, covering transdermal and oral estradiol, micronized progesterone, a non-hormonal drug for hot flashes, weight medication and thyroid replacement, and a separate arm ships custom-compounded medication to patients.

This is nutrition and exercise work rather than prescribing, and the clinic's doctors are the ones who handle medication. Gennev's dietitians cover food, movement, sleep and supplements, and they share notes with the gynaecologist seeing the same patient. His stated focus is weight management and body composition, with cardiometabolic health and resistance training to preserve muscle, and he has published research on resistance training and women's health. For general menopause care a doctor refers you to the dietitian, but the weight management track lets you self-refer and start with the dietitian intake. She prescribes both bioidentical and conventional hormone therapy, offers non-hormonal options, and keeps an eye on bone and heart health after menopause. Her own bio places her at the Castle Rock office, and she is one of only three providers the practice names as performing hormone pellet therapy, which it does only at the Lone Tree office. The practice uses Biote pellets and no other brand, and it starts hormone care with a consultation and a full hormone panel before deciding whether someone is a candidate. She came to midwifery after more than a decade as a labor and delivery nurse, and her bio describes a holistic, evidence based approach built on informed consent. She also encourages balanced nutrition, regular exercise and stress management as part of her care. Jennifer Stanzel has been a physician assistant for more than 30 years and joined the clinic in 2006, after starting out in family practice and internal medicine. Her stated interests include menopausal hormone therapy, adolescent gynecology, contraception counseling and management of abnormal Pap smears, and she has about 20 years of experience placing IUDs and Nexplanon implants. The practice treats perimenopausal and postmenopausal symptoms with hormone replacement therapy as well as non-hormonal options, and it also works on bone loss, breast health and cardiovascular health through the transition. It says it is the only gynecology practice in Boulder offering the MonaLisa Touch fractional CO2 laser, which it uses for vaginal dryness, painful sex, repeat infections and urinary incontinence in women who cannot or would rather not use hormones. New patients fill out a paper form before the first visit, and the clinic says its providers can often fit people in the same day or the same week.

Alongside hormones the group performs its own office procedures, among them hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, loop excision and urodynamic testing, and it runs a urogynecology line covering incontinence surgery, pessaries and prolapse repair. It also offers radiofrequency treatment of vaginal and vulvar tissue, sells its own nutraceutical line, and draws hormone and expanded cholesterol labs through outside partners.
