Maureen Whelihan directs this gynecology and sexual medicine practice in Greenacres and has been in Palm Beach County since 1997. Three nurse practitioners and physician assistants cover well visits and routine gynecology, so her own time goes to hormone therapy, sexual dysfunction, painful sex and transgender hormone management. The practice describes hormone treatment as estradiol and progesterone prescribed in creams, patches or gels, after a history, an exam and sometimes lab testing.
