Genny Petersen is one of four nurse practitioners at Heart of Illinois OB-GYN, a Bloomington obstetrics and gynecology practice that also has two physicians. She joined the office in 2007, is board certified as a family nurse practitioner, and is the only clinician on the team whose bio names menopause, saying she has an interest in the care of women in the menopausal stage of life. The practice lists menopause among its health and well-being services and says it is experienced in helping women through the transition, but it names no treatment it uses, so what she prescribes is not published.
