Sapphire is a small midlife practice that Laura Brown founded and now runs with a second nurse practitioner. First visits are booked as an hour-long in person appointment, and follow ups run about 25 minutes either in person or by video. The practice does not do primary care or general gynecology, so patients keep their own provider for routine screening. Hormone therapy is one of its main focuses and may include estrogen, progesterone or testosterone, though the practice does not insert or prescribe pellets. There is a separate medically supervised weight loss track with prescribed GLP-1 medication, monthly visits and body composition scans. Laura also hosts an evening meet up each month with a guest speaker on a midlife topic.
