Angela Glasnapp leads Prime Women's Health and Wellness, a menopause program housed inside the New York Bariatric Group. She is a board certified bariatric surgeon and obesity medicine specialist who went on to become a certified menopause practitioner, so one doctor handles both the hormone side and the weight side of midlife. Care runs as a yearly concierge membership with extended visits, priority scheduling, and direct access to her by portal, text or email between appointments. She prescribes systemic and vaginal hormone therapy as well as non hormonal options, and will add a GLP-1 medication to a midlife plan when it fits. Visits happen in person at a few New York and New Jersey offices or by video for patients in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Tia Welsh

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Ridgewood, NJ · In person only
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +4

Dr. Welsh is an OB-GYN at Valley Medical Group's gynecology office in Ridgewood, part of the Valley Health System. Menopause is one of the conditions her bio lists, along with pregnancy, fibroids, PCOS and infertility, so a woman in midlife sees her in a general gynecology practice rather than a menopause clinic. Care runs the way a hospital group runs, with visits in the Ridgewood office, insurance billed, and appointments made by phone or through Valley's online scheduling. She chairs Women's Services for Valley Medical Group and speaks on maternal mortality and morbidity. She says she grew up in an underserved area and saw the gap in care there, and that is what pushed her into medicine.

OB-GYN · MD

Accepting new patients
  • Englewood, NJ · In person & virtual
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +4

Dr. Bewtra is one of three gynecologists at Comprehensive Women's Care in Englewood, a practice that began in the 1970s and is now part of a much larger regional network. She sees women at every stage of life, and menopause sits alongside contraception, pregnancy care, cervical health and preventive medicine in what she does. Menopause care here is part of general gynecology rather than a separate hormone program, and the network says the options range from hormone replacement therapy to natural remedies and counseling. The office has run its own bone density testing since 2002 to catch osteoporosis and gauge fracture risk, which matters if bone loss is your main menopause concern. She also operates, including minimally invasive and in-office surgery, so endometriosis and PCOS are handled in the same place. A new patient can pick a first-visit slot through the network's online booking tool or leave contact details and get a scheduling call back.

Pamela Neff is an OB/GYN at THE Health and Wellness Centers, a federally funded community clinic group with five health centers around south Los Angeles that has been seeing patients since 1974. The clinic takes people regardless of ability to pay or immigration status, and its own pages cover gynecology, family planning and prenatal care rather than menopause. Her menopause practice is published through Gennev, a virtual menopause service where she sees California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania patients by video. She names perimenopause, menopause, premature ovarian insufficiency and breast cancer risk or survivorship among what she handles. Before Los Angeles she practiced nearly twenty years in Philadelphia, doing minimally invasive surgery and training OB/GYN residents. She says she listens first to what a patient has already been through with health care, then works out a plan with her.

André Shook

Registered dietitian · RDN, EPC, CPT, LWM

Accepting new patients
  • Gainesville, FL · Online only
  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +8 · first visit $199

Shook is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Gennev, a menopause clinic that works entirely by video. This is nutrition and exercise work rather than prescribing, and the clinic's doctors are the ones who handle medication. Gennev's dietitians cover food, movement, sleep and supplements, and they share notes with the gynaecologist seeing the same patient. His stated focus is weight management and body composition, with cardiometabolic health and resistance training to preserve muscle, and he has published research on resistance training and women's health. For general menopause care a doctor refers you to the dietitian, but the weight management track lets you self-refer and start with the dietitian intake. A typical course of care runs every two to three weeks for at least three months, with unlimited messaging between visits.

Gail M. DeLasho

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +14 · first visit $249

Elektra Health is a virtual menopause practice where every visit happens by video, and each patient is paired with a Menopause Society certified clinician plus a coach for nutrition, exercise and emotional support. Elektra clinicians prescribe FDA-approved hormone therapy and non-hormonal options, and the company says plainly that it does not prescribe compounded or non-FDA-approved medications and does not make money from selling supplements or products. It is also not doing medical weight loss at the moment. Visits are billed to insurance where Elektra is in network, and there is a published cash rate for people who are not. DeLasho has belonged to The Menopause Society since 1994, and she says she moved into telehealth because a routine annual gynecology visit never left enough time to talk about menopause. She is named on Elektra's clinician pages, but the sign-up flow pairs each patient with a clinician rather than letting a new patient choose her.

Rebecca Dunsmoor-Su

OB-GYN · MD, MSCE, MSCP, DABOM

Accepting new patients
  • Kirkland, WA · Online only
  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +8 · first visit $250

Gennev is an all-virtual menopause clinic owned by Unified Women's Healthcare, and care starts with a 30 minute video visit with a menopause-trained doctor. Dunsmoor-Su is Gennev's chief medical officer and she also carries her own patient list. The areas she names herself include premature ovarian insufficiency, breast cancer risk and survivorship, endometriosis, and weight management with medication. Her background is clinical epidemiology, and she still runs women's health drug trials as a medical director at a Seattle research centre and teaches OB-GYN residents. She says she treats each visit as a chance to explain the current evidence so the decision about treatment is a shared one. Doctors here prescribe FDA-approved hormone therapy when a patient is a candidate and non-hormonal medicines when she is not, and the clinic tells patients to steer clear of compounded weight drugs made outside FDA oversight.

Beyer is a Midi clinical leader and sits on the company advisory board, and she still sees patients by video. She trained in obstetrics and gynaecology, then dropped obstetrics to work on gynaecology and hormonal health only. Weight is her second focus and she holds a diplomate from the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She talks openly about gaining weight before her 50th birthday and losing 35 pounds over five months, and she uses that with patients who are struggling. Care runs through Midi only, so visits are by video and anything needing an exam or imaging goes to an outside clinician. Her page has no booking link of her own, so the Midi sign-up does not let a new patient choose her by name.

Advocare Center for Specialized Gynecology is a Voorhees practice that gave up obstetrics to work in gynecology only. Three board certified gynecologists, a physician assistant and a dietitian see patients at the one office, and the group has a long standing subspecialty in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Minor surgical work is done in the office, including IUD insertion, colposcopy and endometrial biopsy, and the practice operates at Virtua Voorhees and Summit Surgical Center. The site keeps a menopause page, but it is a reading list of general handouts rather than an account of care the practice gives. Dr. Gorlitsky trained at Temple, finished a residency at Pennsylvania Hospital and has worked as a gynecologist in South Jersey since 2003, and the bio the practice publishes names no treatments.

  • Sparta, NJ · In person & virtual

Paul Littman is the founder and only physician at Advanced Women's Health NJ, a urogynecology practice running out of offices in Sparta and Wayne. The practice grew out of years of hearing women told that leaking, prolapse and bladder changes were simply part of getting older, and it treats them as fixable instead. Menopause care sits alongside that rather than being a sideline, and the site calls hormone therapy a focused area of this clinician's work. Two nurse practitioners see patients here as well, and one of them handles breast and ovarian cancer risk assessment. A year-round menopause membership called the Vitality Program is announced on the site but has not opened yet, so women can only join a waitlist for now. Most of that program is built to run by video, with the Sparta office available when a patient wants to be seen in person.

Obesity medicine · MD, MSCP

Dr. Chhabra runs a weight management practice in Hackensack and folds menopause care into it. She is a board certified internist who has spent more than 20 years in obesity medicine, and she treats midlife weight change as part of the menopause picture rather than a separate problem. For symptoms she prescribes hormone therapy, and she offers SSRIs to women who cannot take hormones or would rather not. She also watches the longer term effects of falling estrogen, with bone density and heart risk screening built into the plan. New patients start with a phone call about treatment options and cost, then come in for an evaluation, and there is a menopause health questionnaire alongside the general new patient forms. Care is in person at one office that is open three weekdays and every other Saturday.

Living Springs Womens Care is a small gynecology practice with offices in Passaic and North Arlington. Dr. Mustafa previously practiced obstetrics and now sees gynecology patients only, including women with endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal bleeding and pelvic pain. Much of her work is surgical. She holds a focused practice designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, uses the da Vinci robotic system, and also sees girls and teenagers for gynecology care. For menopause the practice offers hormone replacement and says the treatment can be estrogen alone, estrogen with progesterone, or testosterone. She works with a nurse practitioner who speaks Polish and sees patients in North Arlington.

Kate Aronov is a physician associate and the founder of this Brooklyn practice, which treats both women and men. Her own account of her work says she spent more than twenty years in family practice, internal medicine and women's health before opening it. Care for midlife women runs through a program she calls Midlife Reboot, which starts with a full hormone panel and a symptom assessment covering estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid and adrenal function. Bioidentical hormone therapy is prescribed from those results when she judges it appropriate, and the plan is revised as labs and symptoms change. She writes openly that being a mother of three who went through fatigue, hormonal change and weight struggles herself is what made her impatient with being told symptoms are just part of aging. The practice also runs a large aesthetic and weight loss side, so a woman coming for hormone care is choosing one route among many.

She is one of four certified menopause practitioners at the group's Menopause Center, which opened in 2025 at the same Ridgewood address where she sees her gynecology patients. Valley says the menopause team works with a patient's cardiologist, oncologist, nutritionist or sleep physician, and that treatment can mean lifestyle changes, medication or alternative therapies. Her own bio is about general gynecology, including heavy periods, abnormal Pap results and contraception, and in the office she does colposcopy, saline sonograms, IUD insertions and uterine biopsies. She coordinates the global health curriculum for Valley's OB-GYN residency and has volunteered as a surgeon on a medical mission to Guatemala for the past eight years. Kasianchuk is a registered dietitian at Gennev, a virtual menopause clinic, so her work is nutrition and lifestyle counseling rather than prescribing. Gennev's doctors handle medication and hormone therapy, and she works alongside them with shared notes in the patient record. Her own page names weight management, bone health and cardiovascular health as her areas, along with sports nutrition and exercise physiology. A first visit with her runs 50 to 55 minutes and follow-ups run 30 to 40 minutes, usually every two or three weeks for at least three months, with text support in between. She also runs Gennev's lifestyle care program as its senior director of lifestyle care. Gennev's weight management track starts with the dietitian rather than the doctor and you can self-refer into it, while nutrition care in the general menopause track comes as a referral from your first doctor visit.
