About Heat Wave Health
Heat Wave Health is a one clinician telehealth practice for perimenopause, menopause and midlife health, seeing patients in Washington, Illinois and Oregon. Desirae Bloomquist founded it and is the only clinician, so she runs the appointments, reads the labs and answers the secure messages herself. Care runs on a monthly membership with a six month commitment at the start, and there is a lower cost membership later on once treatment has settled. Alongside symptom relief the practice works on bone, heart, cognitive, metabolic and sexual health, and it treats thyroid problems and midlife weight gain, including GLP-1 medication when it fits. There is a separate strand of survivorship care for women after cancer, with hormone decisions made alongside their oncology team. The site is direct about hormone therapy being optional, and says plainly that a woman can get care here without committing to it.
