Gayla Campbell

FEM Centre is a women's health and hormone practice with offices in Colleyville and Fort Worth, and Gayla is one of six clinicians there under medical director Joseph McWherter. Her own focus is gynecology, hormone management and breast health, and she is certified in The Wiley Protocol method of hormonal balancing and in reading breast thermograms. The practice doses bio-identical hormones by a patient's symptoms rather than blood levels alone, and says it avoids animal and non-bio-identical preparations. A first visit cannot be combined with an annual exam because the practice sets aside more time to establish care, and hormone problems do not go to the internal medicine physician on staff. Both offices run a walk-in lab, and mammograms are not done on site although the practice will write the order. New patients request an appointment through a form and may be placed on a waitlist before being scheduled.
