Dr. Cobbs runs Dominion Gynecology, a solo office on the South Strand Medical Center campus in Myrtle Beach. After nearly three decades of hospital obstetrics and gynecologic surgery in Northern Virginia, Dr. Cobbs moved to South Carolina and opened what the practice calls an office only preventative gynecology practice. Patients are seen for Pap smears, breast exams, contraception, abnormal bleeding, vaginitis, vulvar problems, PCOS, endometriosis, painful intercourse and menopause, and hospital surgery or delivery is referred to colleagues in Myrtle Beach. Menopause is one of the appointment types the site advertises, and that entry offers help with vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, low libido, fatigue and weight gain. Nowhere does the site name a treatment or say what is prescribed, so what the practice does about any of those symptoms is not published. A banner on every page says the office is taking new patients, appointments are booked by telephone, and a patient portal is linked from the top of every page.
