About Women's Health and Gynecology of New England, PC
Dr. Edelman has run her own private gynecology practice in Middleboro since 1987 and sees women from age 18 into their eighties. She practiced solo for most of that time, and in September 2024 a second board certified gynecologist who is also menopause certified joined her. Menopause care here means consultation and treatment, with plant-based hormone prescriptions or non-hormonal medication for hot flashes and night sweats. The office also runs two energy based devices in house, ThermiVa radiofrequency for vaginal dryness, painful sex and leaking, and an Emsella chair for bladder control. Her book Menopause Matters was published by Johns Hopkins University Press, and the North American Menopause Society named her its Menopause Practitioner of the Year in 2010. In the office she draws pictures and uses anatomical models so patients can see what she is describing.
