About Women's Center of Excellence
Women's Center of Excellence is an all female obstetrics and gynecology practice in McAllen with just two board certified physicians, open since May 2014. Dr. Padilla-Williams is one of the two and sees women of all ages, from children through postmenopausal patients. Her stated interests run from adolescent health to infertility, obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and helping women through the menopause transition. The only hormone treatment the practice names anywhere on its site is Biote pellet therapy, and the site also sends patients to Biote's own supplement store. In office work includes colposcopy, LEEP for cervical dysplasia and gynecological ultrasound, and both physicians are on staff at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance and Rio Grande Regional Hospital. She grew up in Brownsville and came back to the valley to practise, and she helped start the UTRGV obstetrics and gynecology residency program and still volunteers to teach its residents.
