  • Atlanta, GA · Online only

Val Schonberg is a registered dietitian who works with women in midlife on nutrition, bone and heart health, and their relationship with food and their body. Her main service is a Midlife Health Assessment, followed by ongoing coaching sessions for clients who want more support. She takes a non-diet approach that follows Health at Every Size, and she has a background in sports nutrition and eating disorder care. She does not prescribe hormones or order hormone tests. She works alongside your own gynecologist or doctor instead. All of her sessions happen online, and she runs a free monthly menopause Q&A on Zoom.

Julie Rashkis

Clinical Psychologist, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Los Gatos, CA · Online only
  • Self-pay · $325 per visit

Therapy for Midlife is Dr. Rashkis's solo virtual practice, and every session runs over video. She works with women moving through perimenopause and menopause, and she also sees men in midlife and couples. Care is talk therapy only, and the FAQ says the practice does not prescribe medication, though she will discuss a referral to a prescribing physician and can speak with your own doctor if you give written permission. For menopause she uses cognitive behavioral therapy for the distress that comes with hot flashes and CBT for insomnia for sleep trouble, alongside acceptance and commitment therapy and emotionally focused therapy. Sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly at first and then spaced further apart, and she says most clients need five to fifteen of them. She is a lifelong competitive athlete who says she went through her own midlife upheaval, which is what led her to start the practice.

Physician · DO, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Erie, PA · Online only
  • Self-pay

Dr. Hertel runs a virtual-only practice focused on perimenopause, menopause and midlife care, with every visit held inside a secure patient portal. She is a family physician going through the menopause transition herself, and says that experience is what drew her to this work. She prescribes FDA-approved hormone therapy sent to your local pharmacy and does not use estrogen or testosterone pellets. The practice also offers medication-supported weight care and help with low libido and painful sex. It does not do Pap smears, pelvic exams or primary care, so you keep your own doctor and gynecologist for screenings. New patients start with a free 15-minute discovery call, and people outside her licensed states can book an educational visit that ends with a written plan but no prescriptions.

Orama Wellness is an online psychology practice that Linda Kondilis founded in Atlanta after years of work in reproductive mental health. Care here is talk therapy rather than medical care, and nobody on the team prescribes hormones or orders labs. The perimenopause service is about coping with sleep trouble, anxiety, brain fog, pain and changes in sex and relationships. Most of the practice is fertility and third party reproduction work, with cancer support and couples counseling alongside it. New clients request a first appointment through the practice's booking portal, and she offers a free phone consultation before starting.

The physician is board certified in dermatology and obesity medicine. Every initial visit is by video, with in-person follow-ups by appointment, and the practice does not bill insurance. Lindsey Buttweiler

Women's health · MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC, MSCP

Not accepting new patients
  • Alexandria, MN · In person & virtual
  • Membership · from $59/mo

Lindsey Buttweiler founded Clara Women's Health in Alexandria after more than 20 years of nursing, most of it in labor and delivery, mother and baby care and lactation support. She became a women's health nurse practitioner in 2021 and built the clinic around hormone care for perimenopause and menopause, metabolic health and weight management, and the skin and aesthetic treatments she performs herself. Visits are meant to be long, with new patients booked for 60 to 90 minutes, and ongoing care runs on a cash-pay monthly membership that covers unlimited visits, prescription management and secure messaging. She sees patients in the Alexandria office and by video anywhere in Minnesota. Her way into nursing started when her first daughter spent five months in intensive care as a baby and went on to have seven open heart surgeries, which she says taught her how healthcare feels from the patient side. The clinic was still being finished in October 2026 and its website was not yet open to the public.

Jennifer Nelson is one of more than twenty primary care providers at Herself Health, a Minnesota group built for women in midlife and later life. She sees patients at the Crystal clinic and gives her focus as women's health and the care of older adults. For women under 65 the practice runs on a paid membership that buys longer visits and support for menopause and perimenopause, including help with hot flashes, sleep and mood. Women on Medicare get the same care without the membership fee. First visits are a full hour, and virtual visits are available for new and returning patients. Nelson chose nursing because of a nurse practitioner she saw when she was young, and her page says she wants patients in a calm setting where they feel seen and free of judgment.

  • Chanhassen, MN · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay · first visit $650

Dragonfly Menopause Care is a two physician practice in Chanhassen, founded by Waymire after more than sixteen years in family, hospital and emergency medicine. Visits are self-pay only and booked through the practice portal, either at the Chanhassen office or by video anywhere in Minnesota. Waymire has extra training in managing menopause for women treated for breast or gynecologic cancer, and that is now the only group of new patients on this schedule, with everyone else booked to the second physician who joined in July 2026. Care covers estrogen, progesterone and testosterone alongside non-hormonal prescriptions, supplements and lab testing done on saliva or blood. The practice says plainly that good care is not defined by whether a woman chooses hormones, and it welcomes women who were told years ago that they were not candidates for hormones. The practice began after a personal struggle to find up to date menopause care, and it now hosts patient open houses at the local strength studio where Waymire trains twice a week.

Gliss Wellness is a virtual-only OB/GYN practice Dr. Walsh co-founded with a second board-certified OB/GYN, and menopause care is its main focus. Care starts with a 30-minute video consultation about your symptoms, and if hormone therapy suits you, you leave with prescriptions for the first three months. A follow-up at three months keeps refills going for the rest of the year, and refills in between happen by message through the patient portal. There is no membership, and you fill prescriptions at your own pharmacy. The doctors can't examine you in person but can order labs and other tests. Dr. Walsh's own interests include pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids and weight loss, and a free 15-minute call lets you meet the team before booking.

Beyer is a Midi clinical leader and sits on the company advisory board, and she still sees patients by video. She trained in obstetrics and gynaecology, then dropped obstetrics to work on gynaecology and hormonal health only. Weight is her second focus and she holds a diplomate from the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She talks openly about gaining weight before her 50th birthday and losing 35 pounds over five months, and she uses that with patients who are struggling. Care runs through Midi only, so visits are by video and anything needing an exam or imaging goes to an outside clinician. Her page has no booking link of her own, so the Midi sign-up does not let a new patient choose her by name.

Jennifer Tagatz sees patients through Midi Health, a national virtual clinic for perimenopause and menopause, and every visit is by video. She spent 20 years providing OB/GYN care at Kaiser Permanente before joining. She says she saw menopausal patients there who had no good source of education, and then went through her own hormone transition in her forties. Her mother was an OB/GYN nurse and her father a fertility specialist, so women's health was dinner table talk. Care at Midi can include hormone and non-hormone prescriptions, labs, supplements and weight medication. New patients book a half-hour first visit online, with short follow-ups after.

Newman has spent an entire career as a nurse practitioner at this practice, and many patients who first came for contraception as young women stayed on through pregnancy and midlife. The provider page lists menopausal care alongside well-woman visits, birth control, bone density testing and in-office procedures. The practice names hormone therapy among the menopause care it provides, and it separately highlights eight clinicians as its menopause and perimenopause specialists, a group that does not include Newman. Newman also has extra training in lactation and infertility and precepts nurse practitioner students at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Dombo is a board-certified OB-GYN who is going through the menopausal transition herself. She says starting hormone therapy and changing her nutrition and supplements took her from exhaustion and poor sleep back to enjoying life, and that is why she does this work. She trained in the early 2000s, when hormone therapy was widely feared, and now calls it the gold standard for symptom relief. The first visit runs 60 minutes and covers medical and gynecologic history, medications, nutrition and exercise, then a personal treatment plan. The visit also lists a nutritionist assessment, an exercise plan and mindset coaching, and follow-ups run 25 minutes. She writes publicly about why menopause hits Black women harder and how often they face barriers to care.

Total Women's Care of North Texas is an obstetrics and gynecology office in Frisco Square with six doctors. Dr. Lays is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and her own list of care names hormone replacement therapy and menopause conditions. She practiced in Minnesota and North Dakota before moving to Texas, and she was co-chair of obstetrics and gynecology at Essentia Health. A lot of her work is surgical, including robotic and minimally invasive procedures, and she is a certified DaVinci robotic surgeon. She still delivers babies and takes high risk pregnancies, so this is a full obstetrics practice rather than a menopause clinic. The office keeps weekday hours only and asks new patients to arrive half an hour early to finish paperwork.

Kasianchuk is a registered dietitian at Gennev, a virtual menopause clinic, so her work is nutrition and lifestyle counseling rather than prescribing. Gennev's doctors handle medication and hormone therapy, and she works alongside them with shared notes in the patient record. Her own page names weight management, bone health and cardiovascular health as her areas, along with sports nutrition and exercise physiology. A first visit with her runs 50 to 55 minutes and follow-ups run 30 to 40 minutes, usually every two or three weeks for at least three months, with text support in between. She also runs Gennev's lifestyle care program as its senior director of lifestyle care. Gennev's weight management track starts with the dietitian rather than the doctor and you can self-refer into it, while nutrition care in the general menopause track comes as a referral from your first doctor visit.

Winston is a board certified obstetrician gynaecologist at Boston Medical Center. She sees patients at two sites, the main Boston campus on Harrison Avenue and BMC Brighton. Her hospital listing places her in obstetrics and gynaecology along with labour, delivery and postpartum care, so her published work includes deliveries and not only office gynaecology. Boston Medical Center publishes nothing about menopause, perimenopause or hormone therapy for her, and her profile carries no specialties list at all, while a colleague at the same Harrison Avenue office does list menopause. Her menopause certification from The Menopause Society is current, but her employer's site gives no sign that she offers menopause care. She trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at Marshall University in West Virginia after earning her osteopathic degree in Tennessee.
