Alejandra Borensztein

Endocrinology · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Collingswood, NJ · In person & virtual
  • Membership · from $113/mo

Healthy You is a direct care practice Dr. Borensztein opened in Collingswood in 2024, and menopause care sits alongside her thyroid, diabetes and weight work. New patient visits run 60 to 90 minutes and have to be in person at the Collingswood office, after which follow-ups can be virtual. She uses FDA-approved bioidentical estrogen and progesterone, adds testosterone when it is indicated, and offers non-hormonal options for women who cannot or would rather not take hormones. Bone health and cardiovascular risk are handled inside the menopause plan rather than sent elsewhere, and she is also board certified in obesity medicine, so menopause weight change gets treated as a metabolic problem. Members get her direct line for texting and unlimited visits. She went to medical school in Buenos Aires, where her family is from, and speaks Spanish.

Michael Abrahams

OB-GYN · MD, FACOG, NCMP

Accepting new patients
  • Brooklyn, NY · Online only
  • Self-pay · first visit $325

FemGevity is a virtual women's health service that works alongside a patient's own doctor, and Dr. Abrahams is its menopause medical advisor. He sees patients himself by video, starting with a 45 minute consult about symptoms and hormone levels. Care starts with testing, usually a hormone panel of more than 100 biomarkers, with gut, micronutrient or genomic panels added when they are useful. Treatment can run from standard prescriptions to custom bioidentical compounds, and he describes his approach as conventional medicine combined with complementary care. He is a Harvard-trained gynecologist who also treats endometriosis, PMS and fibroids, and he still works part time for the Department of Veterans Affairs in New York and at Hackensack University Hospital in New Jersey. FemGevity's main menopause program runs through partner doctors' offices, where the blood draw is done, so it helps to have a doctor of your own.

Physician · MD, MSCP

  • Seattle, WA · Online only

A physician-led longevity and performance practice based in Seattle, where the practitioner is medical director. Care begins with an in-person day in the Seattle area for baseline diagnostics, covering over a hundred biomarkers, body composition, cardiorespiratory fitness, continuous glucose monitoring, genomics and multi-cancer screening. It then moves to quarterly labs and structured medical reviews, with follow-ups virtual or in person. A women's track is described for perimenopause, menopause and after, with hormone and metabolic diagnostics and ongoing telehealth support, and physicians provide prescriptions and referrals as clinically appropriate.

Jacinta Anyaoku

Family medicine · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Katy, TX · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay · first visit $350

Dr. Anyaoku founded Hibiscus Aesthetics and Wellness in Katy and is the only clinician there. Hormone care starts with a wide lab panel rather than a symptom questionnaire, and she orders markers like free T3, DHEA-S and fasting insulin that a standard physical skips. She prescribes bioidentical hormones as patches, creams, injections or pills, and no page on the site mentions pellets. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, so weight and hormone questions get handled in the same visit. Aesthetic treatments happen in person at the Katy clinic, while hormone, weight and longevity care can be done by video in 23 states. You pay per visit and there is no membership or package.

Gail M. DeLasho

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • New York, NY · Online only
  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +14 · first visit $249

Elektra Health is a virtual menopause practice where every visit happens by video, and each patient is paired with a Menopause Society certified clinician plus a coach for nutrition, exercise and emotional support. Elektra clinicians prescribe FDA-approved hormone therapy and non-hormonal options, and the company says plainly that it does not prescribe compounded or non-FDA-approved medications and does not make money from selling supplements or products. It is also not doing medical weight loss at the moment. Visits are billed to insurance where Elektra is in network, and there is a published cash rate for people who are not. DeLasho has belonged to The Menopause Society since 1994, and she says she moved into telehealth because a routine annual gynecology visit never left enough time to talk about menopause. She is named on Elektra's clinician pages, but the sign-up flow pairs each patient with a clinician rather than letting a new patient choose her.

Teresa Walsh

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Honolulu, HI · Online only
  • Self-pay · first visit $300

Gliss Wellness is a virtual-only OB/GYN practice Dr. Walsh co-founded with a second board-certified OB/GYN, and menopause care is its main focus. Care starts with a 30-minute video consultation about your symptoms, and if hormone therapy suits you, you leave with prescriptions for the first three months. A follow-up at three months keeps refills going for the rest of the year, and refills in between happen by message through the patient portal. There is no membership, and you fill prescriptions at your own pharmacy. The doctors can't examine you in person but can order labs and other tests. Dr. Walsh's own interests include pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids and weight loss, and a free 15-minute call lets you meet the team before booking.

Rebecca Dunsmoor-Su

OB-GYN · MD, MSCE, MSCP, DABOM

Accepting new patients
  • Kirkland, WA · Online only
  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +8 · first visit $250

Gennev is an all-virtual menopause clinic owned by Unified Women's Healthcare, and care starts with a 30 minute video visit with a menopause-trained doctor. Dunsmoor-Su is Gennev's chief medical officer and she also carries her own patient list. The areas she names herself include premature ovarian insufficiency, breast cancer risk and survivorship, endometriosis, and weight management with medication. Her background is clinical epidemiology, and she still runs women's health drug trials as a medical director at a Seattle research centre and teaches OB-GYN residents. She says she treats each visit as a chance to explain the current evidence so the decision about treatment is a shared one. Doctors here prescribe FDA-approved hormone therapy when a patient is a candidate and non-hormonal medicines when she is not, and the clinic tells patients to steer clear of compounded weight drugs made outside FDA oversight.

Christy Beyer

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Granbury, TX · Online only
  • Insurance or self-pay · first visit $250

Beyer is a Midi clinical leader and sits on the company advisory board, and she still sees patients by video. She trained in obstetrics and gynaecology, then dropped obstetrics to work on gynaecology and hormonal health only. Weight is her second focus and she holds a diplomate from the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She talks openly about gaining weight before her 50th birthday and losing 35 pounds over five months, and she uses that with patients who are struggling. Care runs through Midi only, so visits are by video and anything needing an exam or imaging goes to an outside clinician. Her page has no booking link of her own, so the Midi sign-up does not let a new patient choose her by name.

  • Self-pay · first visit $650

Dr. Frisch is an endocrinologist in Ridgewood who treats perimenopause and menopause alongside thyroid, diabetes and weight problems. She is also board certified in obesity medicine, and before medical school she worked at Merck researching estrogen receptors. It is a small practice that books long visits, and patients can reach their doctor directly by phone and email. The first visit is in person, and some follow-ups can be done by video. She checks bone health as part of menopause care and treats osteoporosis when needed. She speaks Spanish and Hungarian.

Audrey I. Prefer

OB-GYN · MD, FACOG, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Mendham, NJ · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay

Audrey Prefer has been in practice in Mendham since 1992 and takes new patients only for menopausal hormone consultation and therapy. Her services page lists two things, premenopausal hormonal issues and menopause and perimenopause management, so the practice is narrower than a general gynecology office. Consultations are available in the office and by video. The office runs three days a week with some evening hours that vary, and she shares the suite with a separate medical practice. New patients print a registration form and a health history form from the site and bring them to the visit, and there is a patient portal for records.

Helen Gorlitsky

OB-GYN · MD, FACOG

Accepting new patients
  • Voorhees, NJ · In person only
  • Insurance or self-pay

Advocare Center for Specialized Gynecology is a Voorhees practice that gave up obstetrics to work in gynecology only. Three board certified gynecologists, a physician assistant and a dietitian see patients at the one office, and the group has a long standing subspecialty in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Minor surgical work is done in the office, including IUD insertion, colposcopy and endometrial biopsy, and the practice operates at Virtua Voorhees and Summit Surgical Center. The site keeps a menopause page, but it is a reading list of general handouts rather than an account of care the practice gives. Dr. Gorlitsky trained at Temple, finished a residency at Pennsylvania Hospital and has worked as a gynecologist in South Jersey since 2003, and the bio the practice publishes names no treatments.

Paul Littman

Urogynecology · DO, FACOG, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Sparta, NJ · In person & virtual
  • Insurance or self-pay

Paul Littman is the founder and only physician at Advanced Women's Health NJ, a urogynecology practice running out of offices in Sparta and Wayne. The practice grew out of years of hearing women told that leaking, prolapse and bladder changes were simply part of getting older, and it treats them as fixable instead. Menopause care sits alongside that rather than being a sideline, and the site calls hormone therapy a focused area of this clinician's work. Two nurse practitioners see patients here as well, and one of them handles breast and ovarian cancer risk assessment. A year-round menopause membership called the Vitality Program is announced on the site but has not opened yet, so women can only join a waitlist for now. Most of that program is built to run by video, with the Sparta office available when a patient wants to be seen in person.

OB-GYN · MD, FACOG, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Marlton, NJ · In person only
  • Self-pay

Revive Gynecology and Cosmetics is a Marlton practice that puts menopause care, cosmetic gynecology and a medical spa under one roof, and Dr. Elshoreya is the only physician there. He trained first as a general surgeon before moving into obstetrics and gynecology at Cooper University Hospital, and the practice says he is the main menopause specialist at Cooper and teaches menopause care to its residents and fellows. Hormone care runs from estrogen, progesterone and testosterone through bioidentical pellets placed in the office about every four months, with Veozah, gabapentin and other non-hormonal options for women who cannot take hormones. For vaginal dryness and leaking he offers CO2 laser and ThermiVa radiofrequency, and the practice states that all of those procedures are performed by him rather than by staff. A consultation is booked as a full hour with the doctor, and the office holds a card against late cancellations because that hour is set aside. Facial injectables and skin treatments belong to a nurse injector and an esthetician rather than to him.

  • Hackensack, NJ · In person only
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +3

Dr. Chhabra runs a weight management practice in Hackensack and folds menopause care into it. She is a board certified internist who has spent more than 20 years in obesity medicine, and she treats midlife weight change as part of the menopause picture rather than a separate problem. For symptoms she prescribes hormone therapy, and she offers SSRIs to women who cannot take hormones or would rather not. She also watches the longer term effects of falling estrogen, with bone density and heart risk screening built into the plan. New patients start with a phone call about treatment options and cost, then come in for an evaluation, and there is a menopause health questionnaire alongside the general new patient forms. Care is in person at one office that is open three weekdays and every other Saturday.

Living Springs Womens Care is a small gynecology practice with offices in Passaic and North Arlington. Dr. Mustafa previously practiced obstetrics and now sees gynecology patients only, including women with endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal bleeding and pelvic pain. Much of her work is surgical. She holds a focused practice designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, uses the da Vinci robotic system, and also sees girls and teenagers for gynecology care. For menopause the practice offers hormone replacement and says the treatment can be estrogen alone, estrogen with progesterone, or testosterone. She works with a nurse practitioner who speaks Polish and sees patients in North Arlington.

Jill R. Baron

Integrative medicine · MD, MS, MSCP, IFMCP, DABFM

Accepting new patients
  • New York, NY · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay

Dr. Baron runs her own integrative and functional medicine practice on the Upper East Side, and she sees adult women, men and older adolescents for primary care alongside menopause care. New patients are invited into a secure email portal and fill out an initial health history before the first visit, which is a long history review followed by a physical exam. A gynecological exam, if the patient wants one, usually waits for the second visit. She relies heavily on diagnostic testing and often orders functional medicine panels on top of standard fasting labs, and she sells supplements through her own dispensary. Stress is her other focus, and she thinks it drives much of what she sees, so she teaches patients breathing techniques, meditation and basic yoga and has written a book about it. She is also trained in the Bredesen Protocol and runs memory programs for people with cognitive decline and for prevention.

Kathlyn M. Kim

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Ridgewood, NJ · In person only
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +4

Dr. Kim is a gynecologist at Valley Medical Group in Ridgewood, part of the Valley Health System, and she sees patients in the office with insurance billed. She is one of four certified menopause practitioners at the group's Menopause Center, which opened in 2025 at the same Ridgewood address where she sees her gynecology patients. Valley says the menopause team works with a patient's cardiologist, oncologist, nutritionist or sleep physician, and that treatment can mean lifestyle changes, medication or alternative therapies. Her own bio is about general gynecology, including heavy periods, abnormal Pap results and contraception, and in the office she does colposcopy, saline sonograms, IUD insertions and uterine biopsies. She coordinates the global health curriculum for Valley's OB-GYN residency and has volunteered as a surgeon on a medical mission to Guatemala for the past eight years. Nothing Valley publishes says what she prescribes for menopause.
