About Cascade Women's Health, PC

Cascade Women's Health is one of the few independent gynecology practices left in Portland, with an office across the street from Good Samaritan Hospital. Three doctors share the clinic now, after four of its physicians retired. Dr. Dion trained at Vanderbilt and has practiced in Portland since 2007, and her bio says she is especially passionate about preventive care and perimenopause and menopause care. She is also a breast cancer survivor, and she spent a year working as a wine chemist before medical school. The practice writes its own patient handouts, so a woman leaves with the clinic's own instructions on things like managing vaginal dryness or taking cyclical progesterone. Colposcopy, biopsies and hysteroscopy are done in the office, and video visits are open to new as well as established patients, though most annual exams have to happen in person.
