Darwana Ratleff Todd

OB-GYN · MD, FACOG, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Las Vegas, NV · Online only
  • Self-pay

Online Benign Gyne is Dr. Todd's own telehealth practice, and every visit happens by video. She sees women for contraception, breast concerns, vaginal and vulva problems, menopause and facial skin care, and consultations and referrals are part of what she offers. Her site carries long plain-language explainers on hormone therapy, PCOS, urinary infections and breast exams. She is a New Orleans native and a military veteran who served during Operation Desert Storm and later at Walter Reed Medical Center. She says she especially enjoys caring for older women because she has faced the same changes herself. New patients can pick a video slot through the practice's own online scheduler.

Kudzai Dombo

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Burbank, CA · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay

Dr. Dombo is a board-certified OB-GYN who is going through the menopausal transition herself. She says starting hormone therapy and changing her nutrition and supplements took her from exhaustion and poor sleep back to enjoying life, and that is why she does this work. She trained in the early 2000s, when hormone therapy was widely feared, and now calls it the gold standard for symptom relief. The first visit runs 60 minutes and covers medical and gynecologic history, medications, nutrition and exercise, then a personal treatment plan. The visit also lists a nutritionist assessment, an exercise plan and mindset coaching, and follow-ups run 25 minutes. She writes publicly about why menopause hits Black women harder and how often they face barriers to care.

Carrie Pagliano

Physical therapist · DPT

Accepting new patients
  • Arlington, VA · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay · first visit $380

Carrie Pagliano is a pelvic floor physical therapist, so this is hands-on and movement-based care and she does not prescribe. Her site lists the pelvic floor and bladder changes of perimenopause and menopause, including painful sex, among the things she treats. Visits are in person in Arlington or by video, and she says most plans of care run four to six visits. She uses external ultrasound imaging, fits pessaries, and says an internal exam is never required. Anything outside her scope she refers on to a network of medical providers she has built over 25 years in the DC area. She also teaches clinicians and runs courses and a podcast, but patients can book her directly.

Caroline Cook

Physician · DO, MSCP, DipABLM

Accepting new patients
  • Bend, OR · Online only
  • Self-pay · first visit $400

The Marigold Survivorship Medical Clinic is a telemedicine practice for women affected by breast cancer, and Caroline Cook founded it and runs it on her own. She was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer at 37, went through chemotherapy and abrupt premature menopause, and says she built the clinic because she could not find the care she wanted anywhere else. Care covers menopause management including hormone therapy, sexual health, recurrence risk reduction and the long term health effects of breast cancer treatment. She still works as a board certified emergency physician, holds board certification in lifestyle medicine, and tells patients that medication is not a failure alongside lifestyle change. Everyone starts with a free fifteen minute call to see whether the fit is right, and the intake visit that follows runs up to ninety minutes after she has spent about a week reviewing oncology records. She cannot prescribe testosterone to patients in California or Washington because of DEA rules, and she will see women without breast cancer on a case by case basis.

Lara Williams

OB-GYN · MD, FACOG, MHSC, IFMCP, FAARM

Accepting new patients
  • Portland, OR · In person & virtual
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +49

Dr. Williams is managing partner of The Oregon Clinic's all women obstetrics and gynecology office on the Legacy Emanuel hospital campus in north Portland. She joined The Oregon Clinic in 2014 when her own group Everywoman's Health merged into it. Her listed areas of focus include menopause and hormone replacement therapy including bioidentical, alongside full spectrum obstetrics, vulvar and vaginal dermatology, infertility and minimally invasive surgery. She is board certified in integrative medicine as well as obstetrics and gynecology, and she has training in functional medicine, acupuncture and homeopathy. The office keeps Saturday hours and takes new patients without a referral, and established patients can book some visits themselves in the clinic portal. She is a certified Pilates and GYROTONIC instructor and speaks fluent Spanish.

Tara Roeder

Internal medicine · NP, MSCP

Not accepting new patients
  • Vancouver, WA · In person & virtual
  • Takes Aetna, Cigna +32

Tara Roeder is a nurse practitioner in primary care at Vancouver Clinic's Columbia Tech Center location, and she sees adults through the Internal Medicine department. Her clinic profile says she has specialized training in sexual health and menopausal management, and she is certified by the Menopause Society. The profile does not say which treatments she uses, and Vancouver Clinic publishes no treatment detail for any individual clinician. She also offers medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders, and she says she is interested in preventing and managing cardiovascular disease. Before nursing she worked as a marine and geoscientist studying how the Himalayas formed. Her page says she is not accepting new patients right now, and it also shows that virtual appointments are available.

Anastasia Kasianchuk

Registered dietitian · MS, RDN, CSSD, CSCS, EP-C

Accepting new patients
  • Kirkland, WA · Online only
  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +6 · first visit $199

Kasianchuk is a registered dietitian at Gennev, a virtual menopause clinic, so her work is nutrition and lifestyle counseling rather than prescribing. Gennev's doctors handle medication and hormone therapy, and she works alongside them with shared notes in the patient record. Her own page names weight management, bone health and cardiovascular health as her areas, along with sports nutrition and exercise physiology. A first visit with her runs 50 to 55 minutes and follow-ups run 30 to 40 minutes, usually every two or three weeks for at least three months, with text support in between. She also runs Gennev's lifestyle care program as its senior director of lifestyle care. Gennev's weight management track starts with the dietitian rather than the doctor and you can self-refer into it, while nutrition care in the general menopause track comes as a referral from your first doctor visit.

Amber Farook

Physician · MD

Accepting new patients
  • Edmonds, WA · In person & virtual
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +2 · $230 per visit

Dr. Farook is a family physician who started this small Edmonds primary care practice in 2023 with a physician assistant. She sees patients of all ages and names women's health and menopause among the areas she cares most about. She is also board certified in obesity medicine and certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine, which is an unusual mix for a family doctor. The practice bills insurance, offers telehealth and same-day visits, and does procedures like IUD insertion and endometrial biopsy in the office. The site has no separate menopause program, so this care happens through regular office visits.

Reviewed October 2026

Emelia Winston

OB-GYN · DO, FACOG, MSCP

  • Boston, MA · In person & virtual
  • Insurance or self-pay

Winston is a board certified obstetrician gynaecologist at Boston Medical Center. She sees patients at two sites, the main Boston campus on Harrison Avenue and BMC Brighton. Her hospital listing places her in obstetrics and gynaecology along with labour, delivery and postpartum care, so her published work includes deliveries and not only office gynaecology. Boston Medical Center publishes nothing about menopause, perimenopause or hormone therapy for her, and her profile carries no specialties list at all, while a colleague at the same Harrison Avenue office does list menopause. Her menopause certification from The Menopause Society is current, but her employer's site gives no sign that she offers menopause care. She trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at Marshall University in West Virginia after earning her osteopathic degree in Tennessee.
